About TOEIC® and TOEFL®

TOEIC

We only accept an “Official Score Certificate” of TOEIC® obtained. Please be sure to check the details in Application guidelines when you apply.

TOEIC stands for “Test of English for International Communication”. It is a universal test to evaluate a wide range of English communication skills and is administered in 60 countries around the world. TOEIC is developed and produced by ETS (Educational Testing Service). The test in Japan is administered by the International Institute for Business Communication (IIBC).

TOEFL

We only accept a Test Taker (Examinee) Score Report. Official Score Report is acceptable only if there is a compelling reason unable to obtain TOEFL Test Taker (Examinee) Score Report. Please be sure to check the details in Application guidelines when you apply.

TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language. It is an English test to determine whether non-native English speakers have the comprehensive English language skills and general knowledge necessary to keep up with classes at universities and graduate schools in the United States. It is developed and produced by ETS (Educational Testing Service). The ETS Japan Representative Office administers the test in Japan.
